Rooftime began on Cincinnati's eastside in 1995, when Ricky and Sandy Feltner started a small family business that they
operated out of their home. By 1999, Preferred Roofing's staff (which included a son, a daughter and son-in-law) and their
crews had earned a ranking in R.S.I. Magazine's "Top 100 Contractors in America", with
sales in excess of two million dollars!
Ricky passed away at the end of 1999, and the company struggled to carry
on with-out his dynamic leadership. Today Ricky's legacy has been preserved by no less than 5 roofers that were once apart
of his vision, all successfully operating their own companies using the same principles and ideals he established over 15
years ago!
Since 2006, A New Rooftime, has featured Sandy's daughter Missy running the office/showroom and
answering the phones (even at nights and on the weekends) and Ricky's grandson Justin is as a project estimator. Willie
and Greg run the roof crew's as job site foremen and oversee any service calls that may be received.
Rooftime
is a fully insured, true family owned and operated business with deep community roots; over fifteen year's business experience,
and three generations of service in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky! Rooftime's coverage area includes all of Hamilton
and Clermont Counties, as well as portions of Butler, Warren, and Brown counties in Ohio. All of Boone, Kenton and Campbell
counties in Northern Kentucky and most of Dearborn County in Indiana are also covered.
Estimators are non-commissioned,
arrive on time, in neatly lettered vehicles and in uniform; inspect the attic portion of the roof, then inspect and measure
from the roof top (not from the ground like most roofers have started to do). A free estimate can be prepared right from their
vehicles or e-mailed back the same day!
Estimates are free and include color digital pictures and thermal camera
scans of what they find. Rooftime utilizes the best in today's technology such as thermal imaging cameras to pinpoint
hidden leaks and decay, and satellite measurement software to offer 'to the inch measurements" for "to the penny
pricing'.
